Award-winning designs…cost-effective solutions Order of Service Direct simplifies the process of creating beautiful, personalised funeral service mementos – lightening the emotional burden that can be associated with remembrance arrangements.
Our quick and easy-to-use service starts with a broad range of themed Order of Service designs, lovingly crafted by our award-winning team. Onto this canvas, we add photos, hymns, poems and readings to create a fitting keepsake that friends and relatives will cherish forever.
Below, we outline how our service works. We understand that a quick and hassle-free turnaround is crucial when planning funeral arrangements and, as such, we work to a standard three-day period from the point of receiving your details through to delivery. Please contact us beforehand should you need your Orders of Service in a shorter time frame.
The process
1.Choose a design theme
Select a theme for your design from the categories in our drop-down ‘Funeral Stationery’ menu.
2.Your order details
Indicate how many copies of the Order of Service you wish to order and the number of pages that will be required for your text, hymns, readings, etc.
At this point you will be presented with the total cost of your order, including design, print and delivery.
3.Upload your photographs
Photographs can be uploaded for both the front and back pages of the Order of Service. Please provide us with the highest resolution possible as this will look best when printed and label, where applicable, which photo we should use for each page.
4.The front cover
Complete our easy-to-use form, providing us with the name of the deceased, their dates, and the type, venue and date of the funeral service.
5.The back cover
Here you can add a message to appear on the back of the Order of Service. Examples might include: “Thank you for being here today…”, “You are invited to join the family for refreshments afterwards to share fond and happy memories of…”, “Donations are being taken for…”, and so on.
6.The running order
In a Word document or text file, please upload the complete running order for the funeral service.
This is the document we will refer to when compiling your Order of Service design, so it is important that it includes the full wording of any hymns, readings and poems, and clearly marks where they should occur in the proceedings.
Should you need a starting point in choosing appropriate hymns and poems for the service, our dedicated page of time-honoured favourites is a good source of inspiration.
7.Preview your design
Using the information you provide, our designers will create an initial ‘proof’ of the Order of Service, for your approval. You will receive, via e-mail, a low resolution preview, to which we welcome suggestions and amendments to ensure the final product completely meets your expectations.
Please note: your initial order cost allows for up to three amended versions of the design. Subsequent changes are subject to additional charges.
8.Print and delivery
When we have received your approval, the final Order of Service is passed to our professional, in-house production department, who ensure the design looks as good in-print as it does on-screen.
Where possible, we aim to deliver your completed order within 24 hours of approval. In order to achieve this, however, we ask that you contact us before 1:30pm to allow printing time before the final post of the day.
We are happy to arrange delivery, either directly to you or to your nominated funeral parlour.
